Hello everyone, I hope everything is alright in your lives. Stay safe. Let’s get into our beloved Monday News.

GLOBAL NEWS

LCS

Let’s talk about the LCS, some interesting news came up a few days ago saying that there will be no Spring split for the region! I wonder what does this mean, and if it’s really true or just a rumor.

Some journalists say that this might be true but in exchange, the summer split will be longer and that the new split will be from January to August. So this means that we will have a lot of GAMES to watch. The only thing is the MSI competition, how are they gonna qualify teams for it?

Well, that’s also been answered by some sources, some say that they going to have a qualifier match and the winner will be heading to MSI. But all of these are just rumors, but pretty strong rumors. We still need more information to clarify everything.

LCK

Let’s change the subject and talk about the LCK, the famous region who finally got back their trophy! The 2020 Worlds championship.

Some changes are getting noticed by a lot of fans, we already saw a huge announcement from T1 promising us great results next year. We also saw that Afreeca Freecs signed Rigby and LirA as their coach.

NEST (LPL 2020)

I also have some huge news about a tournament called NEST 2020 that will starts today! 12 LPL teams in 4 groups playing for a 1st place prize of 400k RMB (~ 60k US$). Here is the list of the teams:

  1. Bilibili Gaming (BLG)
  2. EDward Gaming (EDG)
  3. eStar (ES)
  4. FunPlus Phoenix (FPX)
  5. Invictus Gaming (iG)
  6. LGD Gaming (LGD)
  7. Oh My God (OMG)
  8. Rogue Warriors (RW)
  9. Royal Never GiveUp (RNG)
  10. Suning (SN)
  11. Team WE (WE)
  12. Vici Gaming (VG)

And today’s matches for this tournament:

  • BLG vs RW
  • FPX vs EDG

And last about LPL, Lining Gaming says farewell to their midlaner LNG Maple.

LOCAL NEWS

IAC

Obviously, we’re gonna talk about the Intel Arabian Cup. Most of you saw the only interesting match that was between eGz & FXG.

Our beloved team FXG lost their first game since the start of this phase 2 against eGz. No one really expected them to lose, it was a shock to everyone. Some say that the problem was the draft and some say that it was a strategic loss. We will never know for sure what’s the real reason behind this but one thing is sure is that eGz gained a huge boost to their confidence to fight for the final split.

The next game for FXG will be against DV, the one team that most FXG fans respect and know how strong they are with their roster and crazy staff. This is gonna be one hell of a game, for me, this will either be a huge boost for FXG or it will cause problems for them for their next games. Let’s not forget that FXG is still in the first place even after losing one game to eGz.

Strike Arabia Valorant

VALORANT, and who doesn’t know this awesome game. Recently they launched an interesting tournament called Strike Arabia where every region fight to reach the final stage of the bracket.

We saw yesterday that FXG are also in this competition, if you don’t already know. Fox Gaming created a Valorant team with one of the most experienced and talented players of Morocco and they are fighting to represent our country and win the whole thing.

Yesterday they played a best of 3 against Team Lightning in the semi-finals winners bracket. We saw how strong they were and how promising this team is. FXG won with a 2–0 and are now in the finals of the winners bracket. They will face Team Majesty on November, 11th.

Okay, that’s it for today. Huge and special thanks to all my fans for supporting me. And by the way, I started streaming on Twitch two days ago so if you ever want see me live, come and join me!

Stay tuned for more news!
